The main research interests within the Institute are in coaching science, sports training strategies and professional coach education. Research in the Institute is organised into the following groups:

n Sports Biomechanics and Movement Diagnosis

n  Biochemistry and Nutrition of Sport Training

n  Physical Activity Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory

n Sport Performance Diagnostic Institute

Collaborations

Impact

 

The Institute also collaborates with other government bodies, companies in sports industry and research projects from a wide variety of backgrounds both within and outside the National Taiwan Sport University.

North Region Sports training Centre

We work closely with sports coaches and teams across the National Taiwan Sport University as part of the Sports Training & Science Centre (STSC). The STSC is pursuing a programme of supporting sports teams for better performance using scientific technologies.

 

Sports training & Science Centre

We are also a collaborating department within the College of Sports and Athletics in support for sports coaches and teams across the National Taiwan Sport University and national wide. The Sports Training & Science Centre is pursuing a programme of supporting sports teams for better performance using scientific training strategies & management

Our research is reflected in the following:

n  Scientific support for national athletes

n   Publication in national/international (SCI) journals

n   Grants from the National Science Council (NSC), Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education, business companies in sports industry
